LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Norcros's finance chief Shaun Smith picked some shares in the Bathroom products company following the recent sharp drop in the stock price in the wake of the EU referendum vote.
Smith, who was appointed to his post in April 2016, bought 20,000 shares at an individual price of 157p for a total disbursement of £31,400.

On 14 June the company reported its seventh consecutive year of growth and announced it would increase its total dividend from 5.6p to 6.6p.

"The result reflects the successful acquisition strategy and the sustained focus on driving organic growth through market share gain, investment in new products, operational efficiency programmes and geographic expansion," chairman Martin Towers said on that occassion.

"The recent acquisitions, together with our developing pipeline, give me confidence that we can achieve our medium-term strategic objectives," he added.

Full year pre-tax profit came in 40.2% higher at £15.4m, from £11.0m. Revenue was ahead 6.3% at £235.9m, from £222.1m.

As of 16:51 BST shares in Norcros were trading 1.59% lower to 155p.
