LONDON (ShareCast) - Patrice Theroux, the President of Film at Entertainment One, has reduced his stake in the entertainment company with the sale of 259,538 shares.

The shares were traded in at 239.25p a time for a total value of £620,945.

The transaction followed two other share sales of 665,462 at 240.1p on December 5th and a further 75,000 at 240p on the 6th, raising a total of £1.78m.

The company said the transactions were all part of an intended disposal of a total of 1.5m shares.

Elsewhere, the Chairman of Empresaria, Tony Martin, bought 3.23m shares at 36p each, increasing his overall holding to 12.92m shares, equal to 29% of the issued share capital.

In September the specialist staffing group posted a fall in revenue and net fee income for the half year, hit by a decline in the Continental Europe region.

Revenue decreased 2% to £95.6m (June 2012: £97.8m), with permanent revenue up 7% and temporary staffing revenues down 3% year-on-year.

Adjusted (to exclude amortisation of intangible assets and exceptional items) profit before tax up 21% to £1.7m (June 2012: £1.4m), as the cost of sales and administrative costs both declined.
