LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Oil and gas exploration company Rockhopper Exploration announced on Monday that the Falkland Islands Government has extended the PL032 Discovery Area licence, in which it has a 40% working interest, until 1 May 2021.
The AIM-traded firm, which has key interests in the North Falkland Basin, said the extension came with no additional licence commitments.
"The licence was previously due to expire on 15 April 2020," the board said in its short statement.
As at 1449 GMT, shares in Rockhopper Exploration were up 1.56% at 18.2p.
