LONDON (ShareCast) - Transport CCTV supplier Petards has won a contract from European train-builder Alstom for digital systems to be fitted on trains for the Swedish capital Stockholm.
AIM-listed Petards said the eyeTrain on-board CCTV systems will be fitted to 46 new Alstom Coradia Nordic X60 suburban electric trains at the train-maker's Salzgitter plant in Germany.
Petards will make the systems at its Gateshead factory in north-east England and deliver them between early next year and 2016.
Chairman Raschid Abdullah said: "This project represents a significant development in our relationship with Alstom."
