LONDON (ShareCast) - Software Radio Technology (SRT) said it had received an order worth 280,000 dollars for its recently launched AtoN product, which is used in marine electronic tracking.
The firm said it expected to delivered the products to the customer within the current financial year.
The products will be deployed on buoys operating in an existing network located in the Middle East, it added.
SRT said AtoNs were used to enhance electronic navigation and an increasing number of vessels were being fitted with AIS transceivers, meaning their deployment is expected to grow substantially in the future.
"Our new AtoN product family has been well received by the market due to its full compliance and certification to international standards whilst also being small, with very low power consumption," said Chief Executive Simon Tucker.
