LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Vitec Group revealed on Monday that chief executive Stephen Bird had disposed of 125,000 ordinary shares in the London-listed video streaming solutions provider.
Bird, who took over as CEO back in 2009, sold the shares on Friday at an average price of 1,560.0p each, for a total value of £1.95m.

Following the sale, Vitec's CEO holds 192,957 ordinary shares in the company.

Earlier in May, Vitec shares soared to a record after the camera equipment company said it expected annual profit to be well above expectations.

The company said trading performance had improved faster than it expected even though some markets, particularly production sets in the US were not fully open and it was expecting some component shortages and capacity constraints.

As of 1625 BST, Vitec shares were down 2.68% at 1,450.0p.
