LONDON (ShareCast) - Support services Eckoh has won a four-year agreement with Transport for London (TfL) where it will handle over 15m inbound calls made to the city's transport system every year.
The company will manage all TfL's inbound telephone numbers and its EckohROUTE call-routing solution will enable the customer services departments to plan their call routing
Eckoh said in a statement that the system "will provide TfL with complete flexibility to cater for all circumstances, especially at times when the transport network comes under pressure from unpredictable events such as severe weather conditions".
Chief executive Nik Philpot said: "We are delighted to have secured this additional contract with Transport for London. Our innovative call-routing platform not only offers them the full control they need to provide the most up-to-date information and steer customers to the correct point of contact, but will also ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction."
N+1 Singer analysts said: "This is a helpful contract that further underpins our expectation of strong growth from the group. Further contract wins from a long-standing customer is a clear endorsement of the group's capabilities.
"We remain excited about the group's prospects both here in the UK and in the US market."
Shares were up 1.6% to 44.96p on Monday at 15:15.
