LONDON (ShareCast) - Payment products and customer service solutions group Eckoh posted a strong performance during the final quarter of the year thanks to six new contracts.
Giving details in a trading update on Tuesday, Eckoh revealed the signing of four new contracts within the insurance, retail, leisure and public sectors and renewal two existing utility customers. The deals will start generating revenues in the new financial year, it added.

The company also said its US business continued to expand. Eckoh inked a fresh agreement with some of the largest healthcare providers in the Southern Indiana, South-eastern Illinois and Western Kentucky regions for its CallGuard On-Site product.

Chief executive Nik Philpot said: "We have had a strong finish to the year. Momentum for our secure payment solutions continues to build in both the UK and the US, with our sales pipelines in both markets remaining at an excellent level and positioning us strongly for further growth into the new financial year."

Shares in Eckoh rose 4.85% to 39.58p on Tuesday at 14:37.
