LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Eckoh has locked up its largest ever secure payments contract with a mystery client said to be "one of the largest corporations in the United States".
In return for $7.4m, the secure payment solutions provider will implement its patented CallGuard tokenisation solution across the client's entire US organisation in order to protect card payments made in its extensive contact centre facilities and automated systems over the next two years.
The project should go live in the fourth quarter of the trading year, making a "modest financial contribution".
Eckoh chief executive Nik Philpot, said: "We are delighted to have won our largest ever secure payments contract and with such a prestigious client."
"This contract also validates our strategy to focus on the largest enterprise contracts in the US, who recognise Eckoh's proven expertise in contact centre security - delivering carrier-grade solutions on time and on budget, supported by a highly experienced team in territory."
As of 1040 BST, Eckoh shares had shot up 10.53% to 42p.
