LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - The board of Vela, the investing company focused on early-stage and pre-IPO disruptive technology investments, announced the completion of its investment in Vibe tickets, the social ticket marketplace, on Thursday.
Further to the announcement made on 16 October 2017, the company said it had invested £200,000 in Vibe Ticket's "follow-on funding round", taking a 5.17% equity interest in the share capital of the company.

Additionally, investors in the funding round including Vela were issued with warrants to acquire more new additional shares in Vibe tickets for nominal consideration, given the next funding round was undertaken by Vibe Tickets and the current funding round raised in excess of £1m, the company said, adding that the exercise price of warrants would equate to a 25% discount to the value of the next funding round.
