LONDON (ShareCast) - Iodine producer Iofina announced on Thursday the resignation of its Chairman effective March 31st.
In parallel, the company welcomed on board a new Non-Executive Director, William Delaney Bellamy.
The new director is a senior vice president at engineering and construction firm CH2M Hill, one of the world’s largest engineering consultancies.
He recently participated in energy and sustainability forums, as a panellist at the World Future Energy conference in Abu Dhabi and the World Bank’s Sustainable Cities Symposium.
Of the newly empty role of chairman, Iofina said it is “in the process of identifying and recruiting a suitable replacement”.
George Lantz, Chief executive officer, said: "We are extremely pleased to welcome Bill to the Board. He brings with him a wealth of engineering experience and deep pool of knowledge of process technology. We are very confident he will help to steer the Company to even greater success."
As of 10:28 the share price had risen 5.29% to 76.25p.
