LONDON (ShareCast) - Robert Fielding has purchased 16,889 shares in Quindell, the software and consulting services group, just a few days after the announcement of his appointment as Group Chief Executive.

He has previously been in charge of the Services division, before which he was the Chief Executive of Silverbeck Rymer, prior to its acquisition by Quidell.

The transaction takes his stake in the AIM-listed firm to just under 1.12m shares.

The stock was purchased at 236.75p apiece, for a total spend of £39,985.

Fielding made the deal after the group on Monday issued 100m shares in the company in relation to the part acquisition of PT Healthcare Solutions.
