LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Shares in Kennedy Ventures surged over 25% on Tuesday morning, after the investing company said the process plant for the Tantalite Valley project in Namibia had successfully commissioned.
The London-listed company said the mine is almost fully staffed and expects underground production to be available by the end of November, with the first offtake of deliveries set to start at approximately in the same period.
Kennedy added it expects to increase production to an initial monthly target rate of 10,500 tonnes in the second quarter of 2016.
Kennedy shares were up 26.66% to 7.60p at 1108 GMT on Tuesday.
