LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Antenna maker MTI Wireless Edge won a first energy and water management order from Tanzania.
Subsidiary Mottech Water Solutions has received an order for energy and water resources management from a new customer in Tanzania, and the company said although this is small in terms of value, it is the first sale in the country.
Dov Feiner, group chief executive, said: "The technology and services provided by Mottech enable the efficient management of water and power, which are expensive resources in the African market.
"We believe that there is a significant growth opportunity for Mottech's services to be successfully used across Africa, and we hope that this deployment can become a local reference site, in order to demonstrate the cost and resource saving benefits of wireless irrigation control."
Shares in MTI Wireless Edge were up 4.43% to 24.15p at 0924 GMT.
