LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Irish oil and gas company San Leon Energy said discussions with an unnamed buyer have been terminated.
The company announced in August that it had received an approach from a possible bidder that may or may not lead to an offer.
However, San Leon said on Thursday that the interested party had not made an offer and had terminated the talks.
"San Leon continues to advance its existing portfolio and to explore other opportunities, and looks forward to updating shareholders shortly," the company said.
At 1417 GMT, shares were down 6% to 27.36p.
