LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Solo Oil announced that a decision on its Horse Hill planning application would be taken at one of the scheduled Surrey County Council Planning Committee's meetings in autumn 2017.




HHDL, the operator of the Horse Hill license, had told Solo it had been notified by the SCC that a decision on whether to allow long-term production testing of Horse Hill-1 and the drilling of two further wells would be decided in August or September.

Solo owned 10% of HHDL, which had a 65% stake in the Horse Hill Petroleum Licences containing the HH-1 oil discovery, giving Solo a 6.5% interest in the licences, well and the discovery.

Horse Hill 1 is located approximately three kilometres from London's Gatwick airport, covering an area which spreads across up to 16 square kilometres in the southwest of license PEDL 137.

UK Oil & Gas and Solo were acting as technical partners to HHDL, the operator of the license.

Solo Oil shares were down -1.92% to 0.26p at 10:00 BST.
