LONDON (ShareCast) - Condor Gold has appointed Dave Crawford as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s flagship La India project, which includes a total attributable mineral resource of 18.4m tonnes at 3.9 grams per tonne (g/t) for 2.33m ounces of gold and 2.68 ounces of silver at 6.2g/t.
Crawford’s 37 years of experience in the mining industry including five years at Newmont Mining as Study Director of Major Capital Projects.
He has also worked for Cameco Resources as a Manager, Project Development and at Pincock, Allen and Holt as Principal Mining Engineer.
Chairman and Chief Executive Mark Child said: "Dave Crawford has worked full time as a consultant for Condor Gold since December 1st 2013. I am delighted he has joined as Chief Operating Officer, it is a big vote of confidence for the company."
Shares fell 1.31% to 75.50p at 14:35 on Wednesday.
