LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Mining outfit Vast Resources appointed former Bunge executive Paul Fletcher as chief financial officer on Friday, with immediate effect.
Vast Resources tapped the chartered accountant to assume the day-to-day financial management duties of current CFO, Carl Kindinger, who will be stepping down from his role at the AIM-listed group.
Fletcher, who has more than 25 years experience in the commodity and financial services industries, joins Vast from Bunge, a US-based agribusiness and food business, where he spent the last decade of his career.
Chief executive Andrew Prelea said: "I am delighted to welcome Paul to the team, and I am confident that he will prove to be a valuable addition to our senior management group."

As of 0845 GMT, Vast shares had slipped 3.53% to 0.16p.
