LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Origin Enterprises has appointed Rose Hynes as non-executive chairman effective immediately.
Hynes will replace Owen Killian, who is stepping down from the role, while Patrick McEniff is stepping down as non-executive director.

Hynes is the senior independent director of Total Produce, One Fifty One and Mincon plc. She is also chairman of Shannon Group.

Previously, she was chairman of Ervia and non-executive director of Aer Lingus, Fyffes and Bank of Ireland.

Hynes said: "I am delighted to be invited to take up the role of chairman. I look forward to working with the board, management and employees in the delivery of strategy and maximisation of shareholder value."

At 1553 BST, Origin shares were 0.7% lower at 6.70p.
