LONDON (ShareCast) - Rathbone Brothers was higher on reports it has increased its assets under management (AuM) after acquiring private client businesses, including one from Jupiter Asset Management.

Kazakhmys climbed after it completed the disposal of its 50% stake in Ekibastuz GRES-1 to Samruk-Energo. The group received net funds of $1.25bn for the sale of the coal-fired thermal power station in Ekibastusz, Kazakhstan.

Bank of Georgia Holdings rose after announcing that it has appointed a Deputy Chief Officer who will be in charge of special projects. Sascha Ternes was formerly a member of the management board of ProCredit Bank Georgia from 2007, where he was both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Meanwhile, ex-dividend stocks were leading the way lower, with Interserve, Phoenix Group and 888 Holdings all firmly in the red.

Domino's Pizza also fell into negative territory by the afternoon, despite posting a 10.8% rise in like-for-like sales. N+1 Singer raised its target price from 480p to 535p, although it retained its 'hold' recommendation.
