LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - PowerHouse Energy Group announced Wednesday waste-to-hydrogen technology demonstrations had commenced at its Thornton Science Park, with the park to become fully operational next month.
Engineering and development team members at PowerHouse will collect data from several sources throughout the company's G3-UHt DMG module, which was set to test feed stocks and operation parameters, as well as carrying out an in-depth analysis of synthesis gas constituents.

Public demonstrations for investors and other interested parties will also be held in September.

David Ryan, Powerhouse executive director of programme development, said "This is the beginning of an exciting time for PowerHouse. We now have the tools, the talent, and the G3-UHt in operation to allow us to develop DMG into a commercial reality. We are taking a thoughtful and conservative approach to getting the full-scale design right first time. This will save us development time and cost in the long run."

As of 1010 BST, shares had slipped 3.18% to 1.02p.
