LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - AIM-listed waste-to-plastic business Powerhouse Energy told investors on Thursday that it had been hard at work seeking out additional opportunities for its technology.
Powerhouse, along with its project development partner Waste2Tricity, recently met with two substantial waste suppliers to advance negotiations, supply detailed technical information, discuss operational matters and explore realistic deployment opportunities for its products.

The West Yorkshire-based technology company said the negotiations could possibly lead to multiple DMG system deployments but noted that, at this stage, there was "no assurance that either of these, or any other, negotiations that Waste2Tricity are engaged in on behalf of PHE will come to fruition."

Powerhouse revealed it had also provided significant technical detail to an unnamed "major UK-based, multi-national engineering, procurement and construction company" to support Waste2Tricity's negotiations in the firm's attempt obtain a system "wrap" and guarantee on first deployment of its DMG system. However, Powerhouse again warned that the negotiations, may not result in reaching a satisfactory commercial agreement.

As of 1130 BST, Powerhouse shares had lost 3.62% to 0.46p.
