LONDON (ShareCast) - Mining group Tertiary Minerals said drilling at its MB project in Nevada revealed indications of industrial mineral fluorspar.
The group said that the three most recent holes on the site revealed the deposit extended west between the southern and central areas with grades of more than 10% over substantial widths, adding that the mineralisation continued at the end of the holes and was open in all directions.
"The results from drill holes 14TMBRC032 and 14TMBRC033 are some of the most promising results encountered to date at the MB fluorspar project," said Richard Clemmey, the group managing director.
"Results from the Western Area, with multiple thick intersections of higher grade mineralisation continuing laterally and at depth, demonstrate its potential to add substantially to the existing mineral resource base."
On Wednesday, Tertiary Minerals shares closed up 10.40% to 4.14p
