International Personal Finance director to step down

By Daniel Cancian

Date: Friday 25 Sep 2015

LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Home credit group International Personal Finance (IPF) has announced Nicholas Page will retire from the board of directors in December.
Page, who has served as director at the FTSE 250 group for over eight years, has also stepped down as chairman of the audit and risk committee, a post he had held since 2007.

In a short statement released on Friday, the London-listed company added Page will be replaced as committee chairman by Richard Moat, who joined the board in July 2012.

Throughout his time as committee chairman he has ensured that the company has followed the highest standards of governance in an area subject to increased levels of external scrutiny," said group chairman Dan O'Connor.

"His stewardship of the committee has been exemplary. I am sure that Richard will continue to steer the committee confidently into the future."

Meanwhile, independent non-executive directors Jayne Almond and John Mangelaars have been appointed as members of the audit and risk committee and of the nomination committee respectively.

IPF shares were up 1.23% to 395p at 1213 BST on Friday.
