LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Central Asia Metals executive Robert Cathery and people closely associated with him sold stock in the Kazhakstan and Northern Macedonia-focused copper, zinc and lead producer.




Cathery sold 325,000 shares at an average price of roughly 250.0p apiece on 11 January.

Previously, on 6 January he had transferred 500,000 shares for nil consideration to his spouse and to the Cathery Family Trust.

Mrs. Cathery sold 325,000 shares alongside her husband and the trust another 100,000 both at the same price as Mr.Cathery for combined proceeds of approximately £1,875,525.

Following the sale, Mr. Cathery's total beneficial shares interest in Central Asian Metals amounted to 1,355,254 shares which represented roughly 0.77% of the outfit's capital.

Mrs Cathery held 425,000 of the above shares and a similar amount was owned jointly by the couple through the family trust.

The company's shares were 3.5% higher year-to-date, having more than double from the 2020 lows around 114.0p plumbed on 23 March.
