LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Learning Technologies revealed on Wednesday that non-executive director Leslie-Ann Reed had acquired 271,646 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed digital learning and talent management software provider.
Reed, the chair of Learning Technologies' audit committee, purchased the shares on Tuesday at an average price of 114.29p each, for a total value of £310,464.21.

Following the transaction, Reed's beneficial holding in the company was 6.45m ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.967% of LTG's issued share capital.

On Monday, Learning Technologies said it had seen strong sales momentum in the first half of its trading year, with underlying earnings "materially ahead" of expectations.

Learning Tech expects interim group revenues to hit approximately £62.5m - an 85% increase on the £33.8m reported a year earlier.

Adjusted EBIT was also forecast to be ahead of expectations at "not less than £20m" for the first half of 2019, an increase of roughly 125%.

As of 1620 BST, LTG shares had climbed 4.63% to 116.55p.
