LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Life sciences company OptiBiotix Health announced a collaboration with major pharmacy and health retail chain Boots on Friday.
The AIM-traded firm confirmed plans to launch its brands - SlimBiome, GoFigure and Snacksmart - on the Boots online platform in the first quarter of next year.

Additionally, it said there was potential for an in-store introduction in May, contingent on the completion of Boots' in-store category reconstruction.

"We are pleased to report the planned launch of our SlimBiome, GoFigure, and Snacksmart products online with Boots in the first quarter of 2024," said chief executive officer Stephen O'Hara.

"This is a first step in building our brand presence with major retailers to support brand awareness and sales growth.

"OptiBiotix is now building a multichannel presence with major online, Amazon; and in-store retailers both nationally, Holland and Barrett, Boots; and internationally, Apollo Pharmacies, India; Nahdi Pharmacies, Saudi Arabia; which will increase brand credibility and awareness."

At 1505 BST, shares in OptiBiotix Health were up 19.46% at 26.88p.
