LONDON (ShareCast) - Allister Langlands, a non-executive director at FTSE 250-listed Exova Group, has boosted his stake in the group with the purchase of 50,000 shares.

He paid 192.50p a share, spending a total of £96,250.

The deal came less than a week after the company reported a wider first-half loss as revenue fell on headwinds in aerospace and transportation sectors.

Losses before tax came to £38.1m in the first six months of the year, compared to £10.3m last year.

The company's revenue dropped to £134.7m from £138.4m last year, while operating profit declined to £2.1m from £15.5m.
