LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Savannah Energy revealed on Tuesday that chief executive Andrew Knott had acquired 9.23m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed independent energy company.
Knott, who founded Savannah back in 2014, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 7.50p each, for a total value of £692,959.08.

Following the transaction, Knott's total interest in the company stood at 36.94m ordinary shares, representing approximately 3.71% of its total voting rights.

As of 1620 BST, Savannah shares were up 11.03% at 9.16p.
