LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - QinetiQ expects its annual results to beat market expectations after a strong fourth quarter.
Order intake in the year to the end of March was strong with revenue increasing by figures in the high teens, the FTSE 250 group said in an update. The company's annual underlying operating profit margin will be modestly higher than in the first half.
As a result underlying operating profit for the year will be at least £147m, the science and engineering group said.
"The group has delivered strong performance through the fourth quarter," the company said. "As a consequence, today we announce that we expect our results for the full year ... to be above our previous guidance and above market consensus expectations."
