Sequoia Economic considers raising extra capital

LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund revealed it was considering raising additional capital through a C share issue.
In a short statement released on Friday, the London-listed fund said the decision comes in light of interest from investors and "of the continued attractive investment environment currently being seen in the economic infrastructure debt market".

It added that any fund raising will be subject to prevailing market conditions.

Sequoia Economic shares were down 0.24% to 103.63p at 1124 BST on Friday.
