LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Softcat chief financial officer Graham Charlton sold 36,215 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250 constituent.
Charlton, who joined Softcat in January 2015, disposed of the shares at an average price of 700p each, for a total value of £253,505.

The British provider of IT infrastructure products and services updated the market on its trading earlier this month, ahead of its interim results for the six months ending 31 January.

Softcat said that since its last update on 28 November, trading had continued to be strong.

"As we approach the end of our first half, we are now materially ahead of where we expected to be at this stage of the year," the Softcat board said in its short statement.

As of 1610 GMT, Softcat shares had dipped 0.85% to 693p.
