LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Daily Internet founder Abby Hardoon has resigned from the company he founded nearly 10 years ago.
The AIM-listed managed hosting and cloud integrator announced on Monday he had tendered his resignation as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
Hardoon founded the company in March 2006 and was chief executive until December 2014 when he moved to a non-executive role on the board.
Chairman Michael Edelson said the move was to allow the company to complete the planned transition to focus on managed cloud hosting as opposed to its traditional SME mass-market business.
"Now that this has been achieved he has decided it is an appropriate time for him to step down as a director of the company that he founded."
Daily Internet intends to appoint a further non-executive director in due course.
