LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - London Stock Exchange was on the list of director buys on Thursday, after an independent non-executive director was linked to a purchase.
The company said board member Ashok Vaswani and their close associate Veena Vaswani picked up 581 shares on 21 August, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

They paid 805.736p for each share, giving the transaction a total value of £46,813.26.

Wood Group also disclosed a non-executive director transaction on Thursday, after a board member bought more than $25,000 worth of shares.

The firm said Susan Steele added 13,000 shares to their holding on 22 August, at a price of $1.99 each.

That valued the investment at a total of $25,870.

At 1616, shares in London Stock Exchange Group were up 0.52% at 8,170p, while those in John Wood Group were ahead 1.89% at 156.7p.
