LONDON (ShareCast) - Image Scan, an X-ray imaging manufacturer, has partnered with Sectus Technologies to increase its distribution in Canada, Central and South America.
The company expects that the two-year partnership agreement with the Canadian security technology firm will improve its sales and marketing presence in "key strategic areas" and expand its geographical scope.
Sectus will distribute, support and serve the company's products across the new markets.
Image Scan's executive chairman Bill Mawer said: "Sectus combines the market presence and technical knowledge we need to drive rapid take up of the new portable X-ray products that are starting to emerge from our recently re-capitalised development programme."
Sectus' president and chief executive Cherif Rizkalla said the company's relationships within the private and public sectors in the region will help Image Scan to introduce its products to the markets.
