LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Advertising agency M&C Saatchi said on Thursday that it has appointed Zillah Byng-Thorne, the outgoing boss of media group Future, as its new chair.
The appointment will be effective from 15 June and Byng-Thorne will succeed Gareth Davis following his retirement from the board at the close of this year's annual general meeting.

Byng-Thorne has been the chief executive of magazine publisher Future for nine years but is stepping down from that role on Friday.

M&C Saatchi said she brings "a wealth of experience across media and technology businesses". She is currently chair of online review website Trustpilot and has served on the boards of Flutter Entertainment, GoCompare and Auto Trader.

The company also announced that interim chief financial officer Bruce Marson will be appointed to the role on a permanent basis.
