LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Kosmos Energy chief exploration officer Brian Maxted sold 42,379 ordinary shares in the exploration and production company on Tuesday.
Maxted, who co-founded the firm back in 2003, disposed of the shares at an average price of 412p each, for a total value of £174,601.48.

Kosmos saw net losses double in the third quarter of its trading year, while revenues shot up 60% year-on-year to $243m.

Chairman Andrew Inglis said: "The third quarter has been one of transition for Kosmos."

"With this focus on high-return projects we expect to deliver short and medium-term production and cash flow growth and shareholder returns, beginning with our inaugural dividend payment in the first quarter of 2019."

As of 1620 GMT, Kosmos shares had picked up 3.01% to 410p.
