LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Serinus Energy updated the market on its operations in Romania and Tunisia on Thursday, following the start of production at the Moftinu Gas Plant in Romania on 25 April.
The AIM-traded firm confirmed that gas production and operational performance of the plant had been as anticipated thus far.

It said the plant would enter a period of routine maintenance on 14 October, with the period being a pre-planned post-commissioning maintenance cycle, where the plant would be taken offline, inspected and have routine maintenance performed.

"This maintenance period is expected to last until 21 October, at which time the plant will resume processing of the Moftinu gas," the board said in its statement.

In Tunisia, as it announced in its first half financial results, the Chouech Es Saida field was restarted with production resuming from all four wells in August.

The field had been shut-in since February 2017.

"Oil production from the wells is increasing as the water cuts from the wells diminish," the board said.

"The company is pleased with the progress to date and is expecting the wells to achieve full production in the near future."

Operations at the Sabria field were normal, Serinus added.
