LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Cake Box revealed on Wednesday that chief executive Sukh Chamdal had disposed of 3.75m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed cakes retailer.
Chamdal, who founded the company back in 2008, sold the shares at an average price of 170.0p each, for a total value of £6.37m.

Earlier in the month, Cake Box said trading had been "very strong" since reopening in June after Covid-19 restrictions forced it to shut up shops.

In the three months ended 31 August, Cake Box saw like-for-like sales grow around 14.1% in franchise stores, while online sales continued to grow, up roughly 74% year-on-year.

As of 1630 BST, Cake Box shares were down 6.22% at 170.21p.
