LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Support services provider RA International has been awarded a new contract by an unnamed global humanitarian organisation to supply and install modified shipping containers as accommodation and offices in an East African country, it announced on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm said its services were required to upgrade the security of existing accommodation and office units, from prefab units to steel containers with overhead protection.

It said the contract award followed on from smaller, similar projects undertaken for the same client.

The contract would run for one year, starting immediately, and was valued at $7.8m.

"We are delighted to have been selected for this contract, which was awarded to us based on our track record for reliability, expertise on the ground and capability to deliver quality service on time," said RA International chief executive officer Soraya Narfeldt.
