LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Online travel platform Trainline nominated former Photobox chief executive Jody Ford to fill the newly created role of chief operating officer on Tuesday.
Trainline said Ford, who will join the board on 21 September, was added to the group as part of the company's continued focus on scaling the business and his "extensive experience innovating consumer-facing digital and technology businesses" across new sectors, markets and audiences.
Chief executive Clare Gilmartin said: "We are proud to attract such talent to our senior management team which continues to be focused on championing more environmentally sustainable travel choices."
As of 0820 BST, Trainline shares were up 4.46% at 417.20p.
