The Company intends to carry on business as an investment trust within the meaning of section 1158 of the CTA 2010. The Company’s investment objective is to generate a total return for investors comprising sustainable and growing income and capital growth, to be achieved through investing in a diversified portfolio of Energy Efficiency Projects which have a positive environmental impact and which facilitate the transition of businesses and processes to a net carbon zero or net carbon positive state in accordance with the UK government’s overall environmental target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
