London close: Stocks end down after nine-day winning streak

(Sharecast News) - London stocks closed lower on Friday, ending a nine-day winning streak as investors digested results from tech giants Apple and Amazon and the latest UK house price data from Nationwide.
The FTSE 100 ended down 0.4% at 9,717.25.
