(ShareCast News) - Frontier Developments, an AIM-listed video games developer in Cambridge, has appointed Alex Bevis as chief financial officer starting 1 April 2017. Bevis takes over the role from Neil Armstrong, who will move into an operational role within the company.
Sierra Rutile posted an operational update for the third quarter of 2016 on Friday, with strong quarterly production at 43,081 tonnes of rutile. The AIM-traded firm said that was a 24% increase in rutile production from Q2 2016, and a 27% increase from Q3 2015.

Michelmersh Brick Holdings, an AIM listed specialist brick manufacturer and landfill company, have fallen behind on achieving their expected pricing gains in the second half due to average selling prices falling short and a rise in competition.
According to the firm, the UK brick market has been experiencing falling output and a small increase in dispatch volumes as manufacturers respond to market demand.

AIM-listed Ottoman Fund's former chief financial officer Ahmet Sinan Kalpakçıoğlu has been indicted for alleged aggravated theft of over $1m by a Turkish court. Kalpakçıoğlu was indicted for alleged aggravated theft of money from two of the Ottoman Fund's companies while he was its CFO in Turkey and if convicted, he faces in excess of twelve years in jail and fines.

Providence Resources is to pay Transocean Drilling UK Ltd a sum of $1.1m in relation to a court case brought by the latter over the use of a semi-submersible drilling unit on the Barryroe oilfield, offshore Ireland.This followed a judgement by the Commercial Court in London on 20 October. It said Transocean was entitled to its costs of the first instance proceedings, which were on 30 August, 2014, on a standard basis.

Bushveld Minerals announced on Friday that it has placed 53,571,430 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the company, at a price of 1.4p each, raising gross proceeds of £0.75m. The AIM-traded firm said the placing coordinator, Beaufort Securities, has been issued 5,357,143 broker warrants exercisable at 2.8pand with an expiry period of three years from the date of issue.
