FTSE 100 movers: Ocado on the rise but Evraz drops on share sale

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 100 was up 0.4% to 7,327.05 in afternoon trade on Tuesday as investors mulled over the latest UK jobs data.
Ocado was the standout gainer after saying its sales were barely dented by the huge fire at its Andover robot-operated depot during the quarter. The online grocery specialist reported 11.2% growth in the first 13 weeks of its new financial year to 3 March and said the fire "has been a setback, but will be only a temporary one".
Informa traded higher as Morgan Stanley upped its stance on shares of the events company to 'overweight' from 'equalweight', highlighting decent trading and a lowly rating versus peers.
MS noted that following its merger with UBM, Informa shares hit 850p but then performed poorly on the back of a disappointing first half, with weaker margins in all four divisions, and concerns about the cyclical nature of the exhibitions business and its exposure to the Middle East and China.
However, the shares have performed better into 2019, it said, as the FY18 results showed the rate of margin decline halving from H1.
Antofagasta rallied as the Chilean copper miner declared a bumper dividend and posted a drop in annual core earnings that was in line with analysts' expectations.
Sainsbury's advanced after it and Asda promised to invest £1bn in cutting shop prices, improve conditions for small suppliers and sell stores as they urged competition authorities to change its mind over their proposed merger.
On the downside, Russian steelmaker Evraz saw its shares drop following the sale of 1.8%, or 25.4 million of its shares at 595p by owner Abramovich, non-exec chairman Abramov, CEO Frolov and a non-exec director.
