Telit Communications shakes up boardroom

(Sharecast News) - Internet-of-Things enabler Telit Communications executive chairman Paolo Dal Pino switched to the role of chief executive on Wednesday.
Paolo joined Telit as non-executive chairman in September 2018, he then became executive chairman later that same month and led the group's transformation and repositioning "with a real focus on profitability and cash generation".
In order to fill the void left by Dal Pino's switch, Telit appointed senior non-executive director Simon Duffy to the now vacant role of chairman.
Telit's new chairman said: "Paolo's appointment provides the group and all our stakeholders with continuity.
"He has been driving the business over the last nine months, including the rationalisation of our operational structure and the better integration of our products and services."
As of 0945 BST, Telit shares had crawled forward 0.85% to 165.60p.
