21st Century Technology inks extension to Arriva contract

(Sharecast News) - Systems and software provider 21st Century Technology has secured a three-year contract extension to its existing framework agreement with Arriva's UK bus unit.
Under the terms of the agreement, 21st Century will continue to provide Arriva with high definition CCTV systems and nationwide engineering support, along with technical design, new technology evaluation and project management services.
The AIM-listed group's contract extension through to April 2022, also comes with an option for an additional one year extension through to April 2023 at the discretion of Arriva.
Chief executive officer Russ Singleton said: "We are delighted that Arriva UK Bus has chosen 21st Century to continue to supply and support their safety-critical on-board CCTV and associated IT systems by extending our relationship through this framework contract renewal.
"We continue to invest in the development of innovative technologies, services and software as part of our drive to continuously improve systems reliability and performance, at the same time as reducing whole life-cycle costs for all our customers."
As of 1035 BST, 21st Century shares were untreated at 2.45p.
