FTSE 250 movers: Hunting spills lower, Amigo ascends

(Sharecast News) - London\'s FTSE 250 was down 1.40% at 19,359.98 in afternoon trade on Friday, with oilers and oilfield services companies leading the index lower.
Hunting, Weir Group and Premier Oil fell as oil prices dropped following Trump\'s decision to increase tariffs imposed on China, while the latter also saw analysts at Barclays cut their rating of the stock from \'overweight\' to \'equalweight\'.
Aston Martin Lagonda continued to fall, with the car manufacturer under fire after having reported a near-£80m interim loss after having posted a profit warning, while Renishaw continued to retreat a day after it reported a 7% fall in revenue at constant exchange rates, to £574.0m in its preliminary results.
Meanwhile, Amigo Holdings recovered to lead the risers, while PayPoint followed suit after partnering with DHL Parcels to improve its click and collect options, with DHL ServicePoints expected to roll out to a 3,000 independent PayPoint One retailers by the end of the year after launching today at 500 UK locations.
Capita climbed the day after led the risers on the back of the release of its half-year results, as Barclays analysts hiked their price target for the stock from 160p to 175p.
Finally, Africa-focussed downstream petroleum company Vivo Energy climbed a day after it reported an 8% improvement in sales volumes year-on-year for its first half, which it said was primarily due to the volume contribution of Engen-branded markets.
