(Sharecast News) - British soft drinks maker Britvic said it was in talks to sell its French juice assets to Refresco.
The company said it wanted to offload its three juice manufacturing sites in France, related private label juice business and the Fruité brand.
Britvic said it would keep the Pressade and Fruit Shoot brands, which would be manufactured by Refresco under a partner arrangement. The sale did not affect the Teisseire and Moulin De Valdonne brands or the private label syrups business.
The value of the transaction, expected to complete in Spring 2020, was not material and would result in a modest impact on adjusted earnings before tax and interest.
As of 0830 GMT, Britvic shares were up 0.10% at 955.50p.
