Director dealings: Thinksmart director ups stake

(Sharecast News) - Thinksmart revealed on Monday that non-executive director Peter Gammell had acquired two million ordinary shares in the AIM-listed digital payments company.
Gammell, who joined the group back in May 2016, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 24.0p each, for a total value of £479,999.99.

Following the transaction, Gammell's beneficial holding in the group was 12.58m ordinary shares, representing 11.81% of the company's issued share capital.

Back in March, Thinksmart posted a 121% improvement in profit after tax for the six months ended 31 December, reporting that its holding in ClearPay was driving ongoing value accretion and capital returns.

As of 1630 BST, Thinksmart shares were untraded at 21.0p.
